Steve Weissman

Steve Weissman anchors SportsNite, a live 30-minute sports newscast focused on Northern California sports that airs weeknights at 11:30 PM. 

Weissman joined Comcast SportsNet in August 2006 from WNEM-TV (CBS 5) in Saginaw, MI, where he had served since April 2004 as a Sports Anchor/Reporter. While at WNEM-TV, Weissman covered numerous sporting events, including Super Bowl XL, the 2005 NBA Playoffs, University of Michigan and Michigan State sporting events, and many other college and high school sports.

Originally from Silver Spring, MD, Weissman received his BSJ from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Upon graduating from Northwestern, Weissman went to WBKB-TV 11 (CBS) in Alpena, Michigan where he worked as a Sports Anchor/Reporter.

Steve’s genuine energy clearly comes across on camera and has landed him numerous awards including five from the Associated Press, seven from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters and one from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association. Although his background is deeply rooted in sports (he was ranked as a junior tennis player in Maryland), his other interests include painting, photography and spending time with friends and family.

Mike Lamb

Mike Lamb is the host of top rated “Sportsline” on afternoon drive radio for Sports 1140 KHTK in Sacramento. In addition to his radio duties, he is the host of the Comcast SportsNet Insider show and co-host of Raiders Press Conference Live. Mike has also been an analyst for both college and high school football broadcasts on Comcast SportsNet.  
Mike’s knack for finding the humorous angle in big games while observing its intricacies has landed him such coveted assignments as the Rose Bowl, the Gator Bowl, the Las Vegas Bowl, the Arena Bowl, and the Senior Bowl.
 
Lamb was a colorful letterman at Southern Cal (1979-83), where he started at Tackle for the Trojans his senior season. Mike played with two Heisman trophy winners (Charles White and Marcus Allen), along with numerous NFL Hall of Famers.
He graduated from USC in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs.
At USC he was named to the dean’s list in addition to the Pacific 10 Conference honor roll.
Signing as a free agent with the Raiders in 1984 led to his broadcasting career with the club’s radio team. He served as the host of the pre and post-game call in shows with Jim Plunkett of Raiders Super Bowl fame.
Mike and his wife Sandy have two children, Logan, 12 and Maddie, 8.

  House Party Live/ Zero to 60
Jim Kozimor

Jim Kozimor enters his third season as host of House Party Live and his first as the host of Raiders Press Conference Live and the new California racing show, Zero to 60. “Koz” has worked on a variety of events for Comcast SportsNet as play-by-play announcer for the Sacramento Monarchs, high school football, college football, basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, water polo, Major League Lacrosse and World Team Tennis. In addition to his television duties, Kozimor can be heard on his own nightly talk show on Sports 1140 KHTK.

Jim began his broadcasting career at Michigan State Universitywhere he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. Prior to coming to Sacramento, Kozimor spent time with the NBA’s Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State Warriors and the WNBA’s Houston Comets.

Jim and his wife, Sandra have three children, Addison, 3 and twins, Ava and Sasha, 1.
